Gerald Odil Ronnie

Gerald Odil Ronnie is an artist working in performance and multimedia projects. They are also a curator and producer centring queer perspectives in world-building and regenerative practices around community and collaboration. Their first love is plants and trees! Odil is a founding member of the Anti-Mass collective. In 2021, they were a Curator Fellow for the fourth edition of the KLA ART Festival produced by 32° East. They are an alumnus of Independent Curators International’s Curatorial Intensive in 2022. Odil was also curator and producer for the 2022 edition of Transdisciplinary Regenerative Encounter Residency Uganda (TRERU); focusing on regenerative creative development and artistic commoning.

Their residency at 32° East provided them with an opportunity to step outside of their curatorial role and work as an artist. They wrote and directed an art film based on their lucid dreaming and created elements of the set and props out of silicon and fabric.
